Homes for Good
Shifting the Tone
Homes for Good Housing Agency is Lane County’s public housing authority, the local hub for affordable, low-income housing and services. When we began our work together, the organization was known as the Housing and Community Services Agency of Lane County, or HACSA. It was pronounced “hacksaw” – a tool used to take things apart. In contrast, the organization actively develops affordable public housing and offers support for thousands of people in our county. It is a constructive group that knows that housing is closely connected to overall human wellbeing.
Our work with Homes for Good began with a thorough renaming and rebranding process that involved multiple groups of stakeholders, both internal and external. We are proud to be the energy and guidance behind the resulting name, the logo, website and many of the staple brand elements that have become familiar to the community.
Behind the scenes we’ve assisted with routine and special communications, special media events and communications programs. From the signage at the agency’s new Service Center on Olive Street, to instructional videos to fill the in-person training gap related to COVID-19, we’re honored to be Homes for Good’s go-to for communications and marketing help. Taken together, every element has done the intended work: to establish the housing authority as a friendly, supportive and smart agency with a laser-sharp focus on outcome: Homes for Good.
